Walter Beine Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Shimon Funeral Home on Jul. 21, 2025.

Publish in a newspaper

Walter "Wally" Beine, age 93, of Rubicon Wisconsin was called home to the Lord on Saturday, July 19, 2025.
Walter was born on May 8, 1932, to parents Andrew and Eleanor (Kraemer) Beine in Hartford Wisconsin. He was the 4th of 10 siblings. At age 18, Walter proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Armed Forces Division during the Korean War.
On October 29, 1955, Wally married Ann Hagen at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Woodlawn Wisconsin. They shared 63 years of marriage together.
Wally peddled milk for Reimer's Dairy of Hartford Wisconsin and later farmed a small dairy farm with Ann in Rubicon, where they raised their 4 children. Wally later pursued an interest in carpentry. His love for wood and woodworking soon became his life's passion. He was a 25-year member of the Carpenters & Joiners Union.
Once retired, Wally would spend hours in his woodshop crafting and building anything of wood anyone would ask. His hands helped so many.
Wally loved to chat with people, so if you had the time, he had stories to share. He enjoyed the outdoors as well, working in his yard, hunting and even watching an occasional Sunday afternoon Packer Game.
Wally was a long-time member of St. John's Catholic Church, Rubicon Wisconsin, where he will be laid to rest.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Ann; son, Peter; daughter-in-law, Sara Beine; and brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his 3 children, Paul, Gail (Randy) Roskopf, and Michael; daughter-in-law, Laura Beine; 2 granddaughters, Michelle (Damian) Schmitt and Callie (Spenser) Hicks; 6 great grandchildren, Lilly, Aubrey, Monroe, Vivianne, Lane, and Casey; and siblings, Norman (Diane), Richard (Karen), Helen Koepp, and Freddy (Donna). He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th, 2025, at St. John's Catholic Church (W1170 Rome Rd., Rubicon WI 53078). Family will greet relatives and friends from 9:30 a.m. until the start of Mass at 11:30 a.m. Military Honors will be held graveside immediately following the Mass.
The family would like to thank the staff of Kathy Hospice, West Bend for their compassionate care and support. Memorials to Kathy Hospice are welcomed.
