Walter Bodemann Obituary
Walter H. Bodemann, age 92, passed away on March 22, 2021, peacefully in his sleep at his lake house in Pennsylvania. Walter was born November 11, 1928, in Staten Island, New York, the son of Walter Jerome and Elizabeth Bodemann, He served the Marines in both WWII and the Korean War.
In 1950, Walter married the love of his life, the late Janet E. Meyers. They were married 68 beautiful years. Together they raised their three children, David, Donald and Brian.
Walter enjoyed traveling, singing in the church choir, golfing and spending time at his lake house. He loved his family, his church and above all, his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his 3 sons, 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A period of visitation will be held from 11:30 – 12:30 PM, Wednesday, March 31st with a funeral service at 12:30 at the Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94, Blairstown, NJ. 07825. A private interment will follow for immediate family members only.
