Walter Clark Obituary

Published by Legacy on Dec. 30, 2025.
Walter "Wally" Bruce Clark, 75 of Savannah, MO passed away on Friday December 26, 2025 at a local hospital in St. Joseph, MO. He was born July 27, 1950 to Walter L. & Margaret L. (Fergason) Clark. He married Carolyn Haze in Osage Beach, MO on September 1, 2000 and she preceded him in death in 2024.

Wally started his career at Quaker Oats shortly after graduating high school. He continued to learn and build his craft as a machinist over many years. He enjoyed the task of creating and refining parts. He stayed on with Quaker Oats and worked with Lifeline through the transfer. Friends encouraged him on in other machinist endeavors over the following years leading to his retirement.

Wally loved his family and serving others. He followed in his father's footsteps as a route driver for the Savannah school district and surrounding areas. He could not stay home and was always on the move. We love you dad and find comfort in knowing your faith has carried you home.

Survivors include his children, Wendy Sisk of St. Joseph, Jennifer (Jeff) Lundy of Savannah, Carie (Tim) O'Neill of St. Joseph, Jodi (Greg) Duncan of Guilford, MO; stepdaughter, Lori Aistrope of Council Bluffs, IA; sister, Mary Karrasch of Springfield, MO; numerous grandchildren, family, and friends.

Private family inurnment will be held at a later date in Savannah Cemetery, in Savannah, MO. Breit-Hawkins Funeral home Savannah is in charge of local arrangements.
