Walter Eisenmann Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sunset Funeral & Cremation Services and Cemetery - North Olmsted on Jan. 10, 2025.
Walter A. Eisenmann, 78, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on January 5, 2025. Born on November 27, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Walter C. and Joy Eisenmann,
Walter was the beloved husband of 57 years to Claire (née Marshall) Eisenmann. He is survived by his children, Lisa (Mark) Uhrina and Heather (Kevin) Schwarz; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Brooke (Ryan Bratsch), Colin, and JR. He was preceded in death by his sister, Anita Eisenmann.
A proud Navy veteran, Walter served in the Vietnam War. After his military service, he retired from a career as a Greyhound bus driver, where he worked for over 18 years. Walter and his wife even rescued Greyhounds, providing a loving home to many over the years. In his free time, Walter enjoyed fishing, model trains, watching movies, and playing card and board games with his family. He also enjoyed many games of Sudoku and putting together jigsaw puzzles.
A visitation will be held on Saturday January 18, 2025 from 12pm to 2pm at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. A memorial service to be held immediately after at 2pm.
