Walter Ettel of Clarksville, Indiana, son of the late Edward Lewis Ettel and Grace Truman Huffman Ettel Blum, was born April 30, 1934 in Clarksville, Indiana. He died at 12:30 P.M., Monday, November 3, 2025 in Louisville. Age: 91
He professed faith in Christ and worshipped at Crossroads Community Church.
Walter was a retired electrician maintenance foreman for United Technologies.
He united in marriage to Virginia Berry June 16, 1952.
Besides his wife, Virginia Ettel of Clarksville, Indiana, Walter is survived by one son and three daughters: Terry Ettel and wife, Donna, Karen Stone and husband, Rick, Barbara “Babs” Hurst and husband, David and Ginger King and husband, Ray; six grandchildren:
Rick Stone and wife, Amanda, Tiffany Marsh and husband, Ryan, Loriann Quinn and husband, Eric, Rachel Ettel, Douglas Ettel and wife, Sarah and Kaycee Stone and husband, Shawn Rigney; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Malcolm Ettel and wife, Charlene; in-laws: Roy Berry, James Berry and wife, Nelda and Doyle Berry and wife, Joyce; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
