Walter Clyde Gruis

Walter Clyde Gruis, 87, passed away in Hudson, Florida on August 16, 2025. He was born in Blue Earth, Minnesota on December 7, 1937 to Otis and Berniva Gruis. He was a resident at Dogwood Mobile Home Park and enjoyed visiting with all of his neighbors. Mr. Gruis loved being a part of his community. He especially enjoyed riding his bike, golf cart, and decorating it for the holiday, Mr. Gruis was known for his decorative hats and his outgoing personality. He is survived by his children: Bonnie Nash of Sevierville, Tennessee, Steve Gruis of Stanton, Michigan, Patty White (Rob) of Ridgecrest, California, Bobby Green (Jessica) of Fair Oaks, California, and RJ Gruis of Muskegon, Michigan; stepdaughter: Melinda Sain of Omaha, Nebraska; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Gruis is preceded in death by first wife, Shirley Jones Gruis, and Janet Simmons Gruis. A celebration of life will be held at a later date at Dogwood Mobile Home Park in Bushnell, Florida.
