Walter Marshall Jeffers, 84, a beloved, devoted Husband, Father, Pappap and dear friend sadly passed on July 31, 2025 after a life richly lived in service and kindness. Known for his many contributions and service in the U.S. Army, Rotary Club of Johnstown, T.P.A.(Travelers Protective Association), A.B.A.T.E (Alliance of Bikers armed toward Education) and H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group: Highland Riders Somerset, PA. Chapter) was a beacon of light and hope in our community touching lives and owning his business "Interiors by J&O" since 1969.

Preceded in death by his wife, Carol Jeffers (Popp); his parents, Lorenzo (LJ) and Almeda (Marshall) Jeffers; his brother, Harry Jeffers; and his sister, Martha Hershberger.

Survived by his daughters, Lisa (Jeffrey) Myslewski of Myrtle Beach, SC. and sons Jay, Brett and Max; Lana (Eddie) Cooper, Alexis and Nic of Charlotte, NC.; Bridget (Patrick) McGuire and son Hayden of Bellefonte, PA. Also survived by his sister, Nancy Owens (Dan), and numerous nieces and nephews.

He battled several illnesses but never complained, was always happy and positive. When asked how he was doing…he'd reply "somebody has it worse off than I do, so I can't complain." His favorite things in life were his wife, his daughters, his grandsons, Indian Lake, pontoon boat rides, bonfires, snowmobiling, riding his Harley, fishing and working. His dedication and commitment to his family, friends and his business was his pride and joy. Always giving, never asking for anything in return. He was loved and adored by everyone. His sense of humor and smile lit up every room he walked into. He will be greatly missed.

In honoring Walt's wishes, cremation has taken place and we will celebrate his life daily.

Walt will be missed greatly by everyone who knew him. I got to know Walt through the Conemaugh Township Rotary Club where he´d been a charter member and remained faithful to weekly meetings and involvement in our service projects until the very end. He was a kind man, full of life and always pleasant with a smile! He worked hard and played hard! He made everyone´s lives better just by knowing him! May he rest in peace, fully restored to health and living the best life now! You are loved Walt, and will be remembered by all!
