Walter Leo Kerschen

March 1, 1935 - July 16, 2025

Wichita, Kansas - Walter Leo Kerschen, 90, left his loved ones on Wednesday, July 16th, 2025.

Born March 1, 1935, in Aleppo, KS, Walt was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and great grandfather. He worked as a MOD mechanic at Boeing and as a produce manager at Associated Grocers.

Walt is preceded in death by his wife, Jill; parents, Frank and Anna; 9 siblings; and great grandson, Christian.

He is survived by his 4 children, Tim, Laura, Tom, Linda (John); his 12 treasured grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

A Rosary will be held on Monday, July 21st at 7:00 pm and Funeral Mass on Tuesday, July 22nd, 2025, at 10am, both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Wichita, KS; followed by burial at Resurrection Cemetery.
