Walter Emanuel Knowles, 40, of Folkston, Georgia passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023. He was born in Waycross, Georgia on March 3, 1983 to Eric Knowles and Sonja Morgan Knowles. Walter loved to fish, grill, and hang out with friends. He enjoyed attending church at Victory Baptist Church. You could find Walter at a softball game with his family or working to make vehicles shine. He loved his family more than anything else. He always had a smile on his face and a laugh that would make anyone smile. He enjoyed playing pool in his man cave with his sidekick, Emmie.
He is preceded in death by his grandpa; Emanuel Knowles, and mother-in-law; Cindy Huling.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 20 years; Erika Huling Knowles, daughters; Karlee Ann Knowles and Emmie Knowles, parents; Eric Knowles and Sonja Knowles, brother; Byron (Breanna) Knowles, niece; Paisley Knowles, nephew; James Knowles, and father-in-law; Phil Huling.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home. A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 14, 2023 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home with Bro. Tim King and Bro. Ray McMillan officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Pinckney Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Blake Beasley, Quinton Beasley, Brad Lloyd, Brad Woolard, Matt Varnes, and Wendell Morgan.
