"Wally"
Age 72, late of the Lago Vista Community in Lockport, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 3, 2024. Born in Youngstown, OH, lived in Chicago, Tinley Park, and Lockport since 2016. Member of Teamsters Union 705, 710, and IB of T for many dedicated years and retired in 2009. Wally was an avid Chicago White Sox fan, sports fan, and was always his grandchildren's biggest fan. Above all else he was a devoted husband, father, and grandpa. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Preceded in death by parents, Chester and Harriet (Nee Jankiewicz) Kobylanski.
Survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Celestine (Nee Kurzawa) Kobylanski; two cherished daughters, Jennie (Mike) Zamzow, and Marisa (Matt) Marzec; five adored grandchildren, Dylan, Emma, and Cody Zamzow, and Mason, and Mila Marzec; two sisters, Helen (Bud) Christopher, and Diane (Gerry) Peretti; numerous other cherished family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Parkinson's Foundations in Wally's name would be greatly appreciated.
Cremation Rites have been respectfully addressed
A memorial gathering will be held to celebrate Wally's life on Friday, May 17, 2024 at St. Jude's Catholic Church, 241 W. 2nd Ave, New Lenox, IL 60451 from 10:00am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am.

Just seeing Walter walk into the room made you feel like life was worth the adventure! Miss him so much, but knowing that he is mercifully with the Lord is a great comfort.
