Walter F. Krolikowski, 83, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Feb. 1, 2026, at Allied Services Hospice Center, Wilkes-Barre.
He was born in Nanticoke, a son of the late John and Josephine Bonk Krolikowski. He was a 1960 graduate of Northwest High School. Walter was employed for many years as a mechanic, having worked for Bruni Auto Sales in West Nanticoke and later at Stackhouse Auto Electric in Exeter, Rymer Automotive in Wilkes-Barre, and McCarthy Tire in Wilkes-Barre, prior to his retirement. He also coached the Road Runners women's softball team in the Wilkes-Barre Rec. Dept. Women's Softball League from 1992-1998.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Wren Krolikowski, in 2021; son, Kevin Long; brother, Matthew Krolikowski; and sisters, Anna Novakowski, Caroline Bressman, and Christine Wilson.
Walter is survived by his sons, Michael Krolikowski, Nanticoke; David Krolikowski and his wife, Connie, Pittston; and Robert Long and his wife, Bonnie, and their daughter, Brittany; grandson, Christopher Krolikowski; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday from Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home, 89 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with Deacon William Behm officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 a.m. to service time.
Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township.
