Walter Kyle Obituary

KYLE, Walter Walter J. Kyle, a 63 year resident of University Park and Dallas, passed away June 27, 2025, from complications resulting from a fall. Since 2008, he had been residing at Presbyterian Village North retirement home. The son of Charles S. Kyle and Meta A. Kyle, Walter was born on November 20, 1916, in Reedsville, Pennsylvania. Following graduation from high school and after spending three years in the grocery business, he was employed by the Aetna Life and Casualty where he became the Regional Director of Career Agencies. He was a people person whose many interests included music, gardening, playing bridge, and following the stock market. He was actively involved in the men's activities of the Highland Park Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Louise Kyle. He is survived by a son, David A. Kyle of Dallas. The family wishes to thank Faith Presbyterian Hospice for their thoughtful attention in his final days. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Dallas Area Parkinsonism Society or Faith Presbyterian Hospice. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 2:00pm at the Monie Chapel of Presbyterian Village North, 8600 Skyline Drive, Dallas, TX 75243.

Walter Kyle blessed many in his community and through his involveenent at Highland Park Presbyterian Church. His interests werevaried and he delighted in knowing others and hearing of their livesDinnee conversations were delightful with Walter and Louise . . They were a lovely team .
