He was first and foremost a loving husband, and devoted father, brother, and friend. He committed his time to taking care of his family. His life was rooted in love, service and dedication to family, friends and service to Christ. In his early 30’s he surrendered his life to Christ and taught his children according to the principles of God. He was a deacon in the church and a church bus driver. He was born on the island of St. Lucia and moved to St. Croix US Virgin Island in 1964 with his wife for a better life and to start a family. He worked in Alcoa on St. Croix and was in maintenance for a couple decades when he retired.

One of his favorite bible scriptures was Romans 5:1-5 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: by whom we have access by faith into this grace by which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope: and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost who was given unto us.
