Walter Myers, Jr. Obituary
Walter Charles Myers, Jr. of Selma, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at the age of 69.
He was born in Hicksville, Ohio on September 15, 1954 to the late Walter C. Myers, Sr. and the late Mary Lou Brown Myers.
He was a former Instrumentation Engineer with GE-Sabic.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Anne Rush Myers; children, Brittaney Gray (John) and Amy Ray (Ben); grandchildren; Aria Gray, Aric Gray, Landon Messer (Hanah), Payton Lenoir (Ethan), Olivia Ray, and Morgan Ray; sister, Sheri Bruhn (Randy); nephews, Brad Oliver and Waylon Tilley; and niece, Melissa Rush.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dana Myers.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Selma Funeral Home with Rev. Toby Milstead officiating.
Interment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Ben Ray, John Gray, Landon Messer, Ethan Lenoir, Wayne Epperson, and Bradley Oliver.
Randy Bruhn will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Selma Funeral Home of Valley Grande, Alabama.
