Donald James Myers, Jr., age 53, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on October 21, 2025. Known to family and friends as Jamie, he was a cherished son, father, grandfather, and uncle whose warmth and generosity touched the lives of all who knew him.
Jamie took great pride in supporting his children, Zach and Jordan, especially when working together on cars, dirt bikes, and four-wheelers. His love for the outdoors was evident in his enjoyment of fishing and hunting, and he was always enthusiastic about cheering for Alabama football.
Jamie is survived by his parents, Donald Sr. “Donny” and Brenda Myers; his sons, Zachary Myers (Lakean) and Jordan Myers (Kaylan); his daughter, Kourtney Clemons (Matt); and his grandchildren: Willow, Braylin, River, Bradyn, Guy, Emersyn, and Brindley. He is also survived by his sister, Melissa Griffin (Danny); his grandmother, Martha Capps; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends who mourn his loss.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home, beginning at 12:00 PM and continuing until the start of the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Following the service, burial will take place at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, located at 9161 Camp Oliver Rd, Bessemer, AL 35023.
