Ludlow- Walter M. Pyzocha passed away peacefully on August 13, 2024, only a few days shy of his 78th birthday. Born on August 18, 1946, in Ludlow, MA, Walter led a life marked by dedication to his family, service to his country, and a passion for the great outdoors.
Walter was a proud Vietnam War veteran who displayed his patriotism and work ethic throughout his life. After serving his country, he pursued a fulfilling career ending at Smurfit Westrock, from which he retired after many years.
Walter is survived by his loving wife of almost 50 years, Bonnie (Huff) Pyzocha, and his cherished family who meant the world to him. This includes his daughter, Pamela Pyzocha; his son, Kevin Pyzocha and his wife Kelly; and his grandson, Kevin Jr., affectionately known as "Mr. KJ". Walter also leaves behind his brothers, Ernest and wife Lynda, Stan and partner Marie, Roger and wife Chrissy, and Kenny and wife Jacqui, all of whom shared in his life's journey. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.Walter had a deep love for hunting and fishing, especially when accompanied by his favorite grandson, Mr. KJ. As a talented carpenter and woodworker, Walter could fix and build just about anything, fulfilling his role as the master fixer. His love for travel took him on many adventures, and he was a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.
