Walter Riegler Obituary
Walter Riegler of Doylestown, OH went home to be with the Lord on November 15, 2022 surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on July 9, 1947 in Akron, OH to Ellsworth and Grace (Brown) Riegler. Walt truly loved the Lord and his family. He lived his life in service to both. His children & grandchildren were his life and meant the world to him. He was a faithful member of the Apostolic Church serving for many decades. He cherished all the great memories that he shared with his brothers and sisters in Christ – traveling and enjoying life.
Walter was a Vietnam Veteran and worked at the B&W for 30 years. He is proceeded in death by his precious daughter Tammy Ann Riegler, father Ellsworth Riegler and mother Grace Brown. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Nancy, sons Christopher (Courtney) & Gregory (Cindy), grandchildren Brooke (Corbin) Hartzler, Rebecca (Justin) Viles, Cailynne (Brendan) May, Cruz, Corbin & Chloe Riegler, great-grandchildren Connor, Easton & Emmery Hartzler and Carter & Naomi Riegler.
We will miss him every day of our lives, but are rejoicing that he is now strolling those streets of gold with Tammy and his precious Savor.
Funeral service will be Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 7:00 pm at Barberton Apostolic Church with a visitation from 6-7 pm prior to the service. Private interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Akron.
