Walter Emanuel Schlaff

Walter Emanuel Schlaff, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Monday, January 27th, 2025 at Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital at the age of 78. Mr. Schlaff was born in Monroe, Wisconsin to the late Walter and Marguerite Holombo Schlaff. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. After his retirement from the Air Force, Mr. Schlaff worked as a civilian for the Marines in Warehouse Distribution. He was a simple man who loved his family, his children, his church family and pastor at Faith Lutheran Church in Tullahoma, The Green Bay Packers, but above all else, his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In addition to his parents, Mr. Schlaff was preceded in death by his wife, Jai Schlaff. He is survived by two sons, Richard (Leony) Schlaff, and Robert Schlaff; four sisters, Mary (Larry) Gardes, Virginia Enoch, Jeanette Schweitzer, and Delores (Jerry) Sawdey; and four grandchildren, Monica, Brandon, Richie, and Lea. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st, 2025 at Faith Lutheran Church from 10:00am-11:00am with a memorial service to immediately follow at 11:00am with Pastor Marty Nutter officiating.
