Walter Stapleton Obituary
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 30 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Jerry Norris will officiate.
Born February 17, 1944 in McRoberts, KY, Mr. Stapleton was the son of the late Ellis Elmer Stapleton and Faye Janeway Stapleton. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and was retired from the United States Air Force. He retired from General Motors Company.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Stapleton of Baconton; daughter, Denise Duke (Dennis) of Athens; son, Clinton Stapleton (Angela) of Baconton; four grandchildren, Ethan Duke, Nathan Duke, Lantz Stapleton, and Cheyenne Stapleton.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Friday, before services, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to Fisher House Foundation, PO Box 791598, Baltimore, MD 21279 or Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 7053 GA Hwy 112, Camilla, GA 31730.
Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
