Thurman Ray Brown, 65, of Baconton, GA., died Sunday, January 25, 2026 at his residence. His wishes were to be cremated with no formal services held.
He was born in Waverly, OH., to the late Denver and Naomi Brown. Thurman was a diesel mechanic for over thirty years. He owned and operated Browns Truck Service. In his spare time, he enjoyed working with horses. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Brown and his brothers, Johnny Brown and his wife Lois, Kenny Brown, Billy Brown and his wife Abigail.
Survivors include his daughter Shannon Sharp, his son Denver Brown, his grandchildren, Kylie Rae Sharp, Khole Marie Sharp and Amielia Elise Brown and his sister Janie Brooks.
In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations in memory of Thurman to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
