Walter Whelan Obituary
Walter Whelan, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on June 23, 2024, at the age of 77. Loving husband to Joyce Whelan (neé Stewart); cherished father of Charlene (Joe) Mavrovich. Adoring grandfather to Kristina (Michael) Cortes and Matthew (Ashanti) Mavrovich.
Visitation services for Walter will be held at Mangano Funeral Home of Middle Island, located at 640 Middle Country Road, Middle Island, NY. The first visitation is scheduled on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 2:00PM to 4:30PM, with a second evening visitation service scheduled from 7:00PM to 9:30PM. A prayer service will take place as well in the funeral home that evening at 7:30PM.
May he rest in eternal peace.
