Walton Silas Webb, age 71 of Flat, passed away on September 18, 2025, at his home surrounded by friends and family.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 22 at Scott’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Flint Creek Cemetery, with Masonic Rites. The family will receive visitors at Scott’s Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 21 at the funeral home.
Walt was born on August 9, 1954, to the late Bob and Don Faye Webb of Flat. Walt started school in Flat and graduated from Gatesville High School in 1973. After graduating from high school, Walt went to work for Chicago Bridge and Iron (CB&I) building water towers, storage tanks, and refineries throughout the world. After retiring from CB&I, Walt worked for The Nature Conservancy/DPW on Fort Hood. He was one of the few recognized by the military for his work locating old home places that were on the military reservation.
Walt played many roles throughout his lifetime. He will always be remembered as the “Fix it Guy” and for his “Table of Wisdom.” Walt loved riding motorcycles and working on Jeeps. He was an active member of the Gatesville Masonic Lodge #197 A.F. & A.M. and the Maples Lodge #791 A.F. & A.M., where he accomplished many achievements. Above all, Walt was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a friend to all who knew him.
Walt was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert “Bubba” Webb; and sister, Barbie Webb Oldeen.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Webb; children, Amanda Jaska, and husband, Ray, Alicia Nicole Webb, Shane Webb, and wife, Trista, Trevor Moore and wife, Emily, and Laurie Parker and husband, Wade; grandchildren, Megan, Taylor, Abi, Ethan, Kristan, Clay, Casey, Phoenix, Hayleigh, Lola, Gus, Ryan, James and Daulton; great grandchildren, Patience, Rylee, Hudson, Cooper, Korinne, Kamiyah, and Grayson; sisters, Donita Evetts, Carnetta Hughitt and husband, David; brother, Carlos, and wife LeAnne; and his dog Lucy.
