Wanda Mae Blackerby

Blackerby, Wanda Mae – of Westland, formerly of Clio, age 93, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, December 23, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Darrel Manning to officiate, burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Saturday from 10AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
Wanda was born January 3, 1931, in Clio, Michigan, to the late Wilhelm and Gladys Schlueter. She was a long-term resident of Clio and had been residing in Westland for the past 6 years. Wanda graduated from Clio High School with the class of 1948. On September 2, 1948, she married John Blackerby in Clio, Michigan, whom she is now reunited with in heaven. She and John were avid travelers. Wanda was a devoted Christian, a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be dearly missed.
Surviving are: Children: Pamela (Dave) Andreasen, William (Linda) Blackerby; Grandchildren: Paul Blackerby, Matthew Blackerby, William B Blackerby, Zachariah Blackerby, and Alysha Andreasen; She was blessed with 8 Great Grandchildren.
