A devoted mother, Wanda's proudest accomplishment was watching her children grow; her daughters, Letissha M. Blakey and Darnella N. Blakey who she raised as a daughter, and son James R. Blakey; granddaughters, Ja'Qua, Aeryon, and Laniece were the apples of her eye. She was always protected by her little big brothers; Michael (Roshon), Steven, Wayne Sr., and Orlando Blakey Sr; a special friend, Mr. Stanley and her loving caregiver, Alexis Mayberry. Wanda was preceded in death by, her mother; Willa Mae Blakey; her father, James W. Blakey; her brothers, Raymond Cabbil, and David Blakey; sisters, Donna Faye, and Carolyn R. Hambric; grandmothers; Essie N. Hubbard and Elnora Blakey.
She also leaves to cherish her memory; a host of nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles, cousins, friends, and neighbors. Needless to say she will be greatly missed.
