Wanda Clark Boyers, 78, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at her home in Staunton. Born on February 11, 1948, in Augusta Springs, she was the daughter of the late James “Bill” Irving Clark and Mildred Virginia Carper Clark.
Wanda was formerly employed at Genicom before dedicating her life to caring for her home and family. A faithful member of the Church of the Brethren, she found joy in her faith, her family, and the simple pleasures of life. She especially treasured time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. Wanda loved her dogs, had a tender heart for rescue animals, enjoyed vacationing, and often relaxed with her favorite show, Blue Bloods.
She is survived by her daughters, Amy Evonne Boyers and Alicia Nicole Brown and her husband, Lawton; her son, Harry James Boyers and his wife, Jody; her sister-in-law, Sandra Roach; her grandchildren, Kristopher Brown, Brandon Boyers, Allyson Brown, Daniel Boyers, Cameron Nelson, and Cierra Nelson; her great-grandchild, Kinsley Brown; and numerous extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Graves Boyers, II; her sister, Linda P. Clark; and her grandson, Derek Brown.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Arbor Hill Church of the Brethren in Staunton, with Reverend Lee Reid officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Staunton-Augusta-Waynesboro Animal Shelter (1011 Lee Highway, Verona, VA 24482).
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah for the compassionate care and kindness shown to Wanda and her family.
