Wanda Jeanne (Picket) Current, 93, of Casper Wyoming passed away on July 29, 2025 at home.

Jeanne was born at the Hansen Farm in Gosper County Nebraska to Mable Elizabeth Hansen and Max Cecile Picket on March 21, 1932. She attended high school first at Natrona County High School, then transferred and graduated from Campion Academy (Colorado) in 1950. After graduating, Jeanne married and later worked as a bookkeeper in various positions with construction companies and the local hospital. She enjoyed gardening, growing both beautiful flowers and delicious vegetables. Jeanne read voraciously and could always be found with a stack of books beside her and frequented the local library regularly.

Jeanne is survived by her Husband, Neilan Lee Current of Casper, her children, Carolyn Delinger and Richard Current, her grandchildren, Jory Delinger, Jenette Thomas, Suzanne Carpenter, Tonya Wright, Jeremy Current, Caleb Current and Michelle Current, her great grandchildren, Joseph Elton, Ashleigh McDonald, Alexis Dvarishkis, Justus Wright, Claire Current, JonMarc Wright, Collin Current, and Quinn Current. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mable Hansen and Max Picket, her Siblings Ruth Johnson and Mary Riedel, and her grandson Tobin Current.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, September 7, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Seventh Day Adventist Church on Casper Mountain Road.

Memorial donations may be made to Adventist Frontier Missions (AFM). Missionaries, Tonya and Jared Wright at afmonline.org The family wishes to extend their gratitude to AFM.

Jeanne will be greatly missed by her family and church members. She had a wonderful laugh and enjoyed life to the fullest.
