Wanda Ernesti Obituary
Wanda passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025 at Franciscan Healthcare in West Point, NE.
Wanda June Ernesti was born on August 19, 1939 in Beemer, NE to Frank and Eunice (Benedict) Rall. At a young age they family moved to West Point, where Wanda graduated from West Point High School in 1956. Wanda worked for several years at St. Francis Memorial Hospital as an aide.
On September 8, 1966, she was united in marriage to Raymond C. Ernesti at St. Mary's Catholic Church. While living on the farm, she babysat for children in the neighborhood. In 1982, they moved to West Point, where she babysat, worked at St. Joseph's Retirement Community, and the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Scribner until she retired.
Wanda was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Ladies Guild. She enjoyed baking, tending to her garden, canning, making Christmas Candy, and sewing. Wanda and Ray enjoyed square dancing. Most of all Wanda enjoyed spending time with her family.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents-Frank and Eunice Rall, 4 brothers, and one sister.
