Wanda Gail Fasig, age 69, of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday, December 20, 2022 after an extended illness. Gail was born August 1, 1953 in Young Harris, Georgia to the late Robert and Margie (Wood) Hicks and raised in Hiawassee, Georgia. She loved to ride motorcycles with her husband and also loved animals. Gail was a wife, a mother, a sister, and a friend to anyone who met her. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived in death by her husband of 21 years, Tom Fasig; son, Kris(Kim) Phillips; daughter, Kelly Berry; grandson, Donovon Berry; granddaughter, Brilee Berry; brothers, Gary (Rhonda) Hicks, Glen (Roxane) Hicks, Grant (Janet) Hicks; sister, Gloria Camp; cousin (which was more like a sister), Deb Nelson; many aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins that will dearly miss her. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Humane society mountain shelter.
Visitation: Friday, December 23, 2022 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Lower Hightower Baptist Church.
Funeral: Friday, December 23, 2022 at 1:00pm at Lower Hightower Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Burch officiating.
