Wanda Lee (Finney) Gideon was born to Henry "Ermal" and Clara (Marlin) Finney on October 6, 1943, in Chadwick, Missouri. She passed away at her home in Chadwick, Missouri, on January 18, 2026.

Wanda is survived by her siblings: Dale Finney, Sue Petersen, Daniel (Cindy) Finney, and David (Danetta) Finney; and by her children: Diane (Marvin) Guerin, James (Michelle) Gideon, Kathy Bushong, and Don Breauchy. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Marvin "Toot," Jack, Rob (Gretta), and Dustin Guerin; Emily Gideon; Nathaniel Gideon; Brooke (Chris) Stanley; Bailey (Shelby) Tennis; and Mikayla (Sam) Hodges. Her great-grandchildren include Brianna (Steven) Slater, Logan (Angel) Guerin, Garrett; Mackenzie (Jarin) Cunningham, Gage, Kaylee, Bryer, Jase, Cooper, Maryann, Madilynn, Clay, Luca, Wrenlee, and Rubie. Her great-great-grandchildren include Alena, Mathias, Orville, Oaklee, Joshua, Lakelynn, and Timothy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Henry "Ermal" and Clara (Marlin) Finney; her siblings, Phillip, Rose, and Jane, her brother-in-law Steve Kinyon; her sister-in-law, Shirley Finney; and brother-in-law Carl Petersen. She was also preceded in death by her children's father, Robert Gideon; daughters, Wanda Pauline and Roberta Catherine; son-in-law, Mike Bushong; and her great-grandson, Timothy Guerin.

She will be remembered for her deep love of iris gardening and genealogy. She took great joy in tending her gardens and tracing her family history. Wanda's legacy lives on through the many generations of her family, who will forever cherish her love, strength, and wisdom. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Wanda's memory to the Chadwick Cemetery Fund at Legacy Bank in Chadwick.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home and Life Tribute Center in Ozark, Missouri.
