Wanda Haggard Obituary
Funeral services for Wanda Jean Haggard, age 74 of Fort Worth TX, will be held at 2 PM, April 16, 2022, from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home, Columbia, LA. Burial will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery, Grayson, LA. The family will hold a visitation at the funeral home on Friday, April 15, 2022, from 5 PM until 8 PM.
On April 9, 2022, the family and friends of Wanda Jean Lindsey Haggard lost a beloved wife, mama, sister, mammaw, friend and warrior.
Jean, as most of her family called her, battled many health issues over the years, yet her optimism and love for life never diminished. She made the most of every opportunity and blessing that she received from God, to encourage and support all of those that she loved.
She loved to travel, sandy beaches, sunshine, her FWISD family, Elvis, giggling with her siblings (Vickie Sue, Alvin, Benjo and Lydia), being a mother/grandmother, front porch rockin, and her husband of 58 years, Billie.
Our hearts are broken but we know that Mama is with the Lord. Thank you for raising and loving all of us (Gidget, Billie Jr., Sherrie, ReJeana, Ricky, Aren, Lewis, Alex, Gabby, Dakota, Andy, Lindsey and Nick).
