Wanda Rae Harris

Wanda Rae Harris, 57, of the Wind River Reservation passed away peacefully February 10,2026 surrounded by her family at the Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Wanda was born December 22, 1968 in Lander Wyoming to Mary and Raymond Harris Jr. She was a proud member of the Northern Arapaho Tribe.

“Nei’Woo” as she was affectionately known as, received her schooling around the Wyoming Indian school district. Graduating from the Wyoming Indian High School in 1987. She then furthered her education at Central Wyoming College pursuing her associate degree.

Wanda then met Brian (Nichole) Brugh Sr. And they share four children, Brianna, Ambrosia, Braedyn, Brian Brugh Jr. She loved to travel, make videos, play pool, basketball & softball, dance fancy shawl, bead, make crafts, gamble, ref, singing, and hangout with family and friends.

She was never one to shy away from anyone. She made friends wherever she went. She was a lover of her friends & family, greeting and acknowledging them with her laughter, smile, and stories of her rambunctious adventures. She lived in many places including the Wind River Reservation, Idaho, Washington, and North Dakota.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brianna Brugh, parents Mary & Raymond Harris Jr. brothers; Carlos Harris, Kenny Shoyo, sisters; Martina & Francine Harris, Aunts; Debbie Vega, Verda Enis, Sannette McGill, Elaine McLeod, Aleta “Atlas” McLeod, Eldra Tindall, Karen McLeod, uncles; Lenord Harris, Alden Harris Sr., Irwin Tindall, Edmond Tindall, Coy Tindall, Tossa Brown, Lonnie Harris, Valentine Harris, Gary Harris, Granddaughter; Rainey Morin

She is survived by her children, Ambrosia (Chantel), Braedyn (Rhoda Aragon), Brian (Reanne Hutchinson) Brugh. Sister; Caye (Gary) Medicine Cloud, Brothers; Martin Harris Sr., Raymond Harris lll, Steve (Desirae) Lajeunesse, Talon Harris. Numerous nieces, nephews & cousins. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Blue Sky Hall in Ethete (490 Ethete Rd., Ethete, WY 82520). An all-night wake will follow at the family home, located at 678 Plunkett Rd., Ethete, WY 82520.

The funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Blue Sky Hall in Ethete.
