Mrs. Wanda Faye Kelley, age 72, of Young Harris, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023. Wanda was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Neal and Nina (Loftis) Moss on February 26, 1951 in Young Harris, Georgia. Wanda was a faithful member at Bell Scene Baptist Church and member of the church choir. She spent most of her life singing with different gospel groups throughout the tri-county area. She was also a very talented guitarist. Wanda was born to be a mother; she loved and helped guide many children over the years, often being referred to as "everyone's mother." She also took great pride in being a homemaker: decorating their home with antiques and collectibles, gardening and canning, and cooking for her family. Her favorite hobby was working in her yard, and her beautiful manicured lawn with its lush flowers, shrubs and trees, was testament to her green thumb. It goes without saying she especially loved being a grandmother and proudly accepted her position as "Nana" to her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.   She was a devoted wife to Michael Kelley, mother and mother-in-law to Kenneth "Jack" and Geri Kelley; and grandmother to Connor Jackson Kelley and Erin Olivia Kelley. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Pansey and Kenny Sudderth, Martha and Mark Hufstetler, and brother-in-law, Bernard Moody. She is preceded in death by son, Jefferey Jackson Kelley and sister, Shelia Moody.
