Wanda Lou Kirkpatrick

Wanda Lou Janes Kirkpatrick, age 81, a resident of Dierks, Arkansas received her crown of jewels Saturday, March 22, 2025. Wanda was born in Daisy, AR on July 11, 1943, to the late Jewell and Wavie (Morris) Janes.
Wanda lived a life led by faith, hard work, and a profound commitment to her family, friends, and community. Wanda was a 1961 graduate of Dierks High School and a devoted member of Greens Chapel Church. She had many titles in life, her favorite being "Mamaw."
Wanda was well known for her work ethic and tenacity for life. She had many interests including crocheting, canning, and fishing, specifically catfishing. She thoroughly enjoyed following her grandchildren and great-grandchildren to every fair, rodeo, and ballgame they participated in. Wanda never missed an opportunity to cheer on the Razorbacks or the Outlaws.
Wanda found her greatest joy & fulfillment in her family. She leaves to cherish her memory her three children, David Kirkpatrick, Kimberly (Tim) Harris, and Mark (Melissa) Kirkpatrick. Her legacy further lives through her grandchildren: Jordan (Mason) Vincent, Kinsey (Brett) Lowrie, Kolby (Ty) Dupre, Jace (Jordan) Owen, Caden (Kelsi) Owen, Garett (Montana) Kirkpatrick, Emmalee Kirkpatrick, Bryar Janes, and step-grandchildren; Mitch Harris, Jade (Justin) Spotts, and Sam Harris. Along with great-grandchildren Tegan, Taylin, Jackson, Klansey, Konley, Pace, Ledgar, Laramie, Journi, Tinsley, Kash, Kort, and step-great-grandchildren, Pace, Conn, Hutch, and Brodie. Also her siblings: JoPatt Binotti, Roy Jo Janes, Esther Herring, Hershel Janes, Harold Wayne (Charlotte) Janes, Jimmy Dean (Misty) Janes, Stacy Janes, Patricia Janes, Wendell (Judy) Hogg; and many treasured nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, George Kirkpatrick, and siblings; Franklin Janes and Juanita Williams.
Funeral services for Mrs. Kirkpatrick will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Greens Chapel Church with Chris McGee, Jaron Tipton and Kenya Hefner officiating. Burial will follow in the Greens Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in Dierks.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at the funeral home in Dierks.
