Wanda "Nita" Kirksey

Ms. Wanda 'Nita' Kirksey, age 82 of Cunningham, TN was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Vanderbilt Hospital, Nashville, TN. She was born July 27, 1940 in Dover, TN, the beloved daughter of the late Chester and Hazel Lee. Nita enjoyed the simple things in life - being a loving and devoted mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and loyal friend to many. Nita enjoyed having her family together cooking and making memories. She especially loved working in the garden with her flowers and other plants.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son; Barry Kentner, daughter; Stephanie Kentner Brown, husband; Charles 'Tom' Kentner and other husband; Horace Kirksey.
She leaves behind those that loved her dearly, daughter; Tracy Dewese (David), son; Jeff Delaney (Debbie), brothers; Charles Lee (Vicki), Dean Lee (Diane), Billy Lee (Jennifer), sisters; Carol Vinson (John), Rebecca Wallace (Donnie), 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson and 5 great-granddaughters.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 10:00 am until 11:30 am at Anglin Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Wofford Cemetery with Bro. Joe Shannon officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
