Wanda Lawrence Obituary
She was born on January 18, 1933, in Johnson County, IL, to Clarence and Ruby White. She attended West Frankfort High School and was a founding member of the Faith Assembly Fellowship Church in West Frankfort.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Vernon Bearden, Bill Bearden, and Royce White; sister Jane Rogers.
She is survived by her daughter Donna (Bob) Gerth; sister Joyce Thornton; sister in law Linda White; grandsons Thomas (Sara) Gerth and Joseph (Tessa) Gerth; great grandchildren Michael Cunningham, Ellie Gerth, Archer Gerth and Jane Gerth; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Monday, March 9, 2026, in the Union Funeral Home, West Frankfort, at11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gary Brown officiating. Interment will be at Boner Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
