Wanda Lofton passed away on June 19, 2025. She was born September 4, 1950 in Goldsboro, NC and she was the oldest daughter of Heloise Coley Lofton and Andrew Lofton. Wanda attended and graduated from the Public School System of Goldsboro. After graduating she decided to move to DC to further enhance her interest in many art forms. Wanda had a great sense of humor and she will be missed. Visitation will be held on July 18, 2025, 10 a.m. at Fifteenth Street Presbyterian Church, 1701 - 15th St. NW, followed by Memorial Celebration of Life at 10:30 a.m. Interment, Private

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of my dear friend, once girl friend, Wanda Lofton. I am so sad that I missed the annoncement of her passing and the opportunity to share in the celebration of her life. Though I didn't see her often, the thought of not seeing her again in this life is troublesome for its permanency. Nevertheless, I look forward to seeing her again should we meet in the hereafter. Rest in Peace Wanda!
