Wanda A. McGee

Wanda A. Birkhimer McGee, age 78, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away Thursday November 13, 2025, at Genesis Hospital. She was born November 8, 1947 in Zanesville, OH to the late Frank and Garnet Layton Birkhimer. Wanda was a 1966 graduate of Jefferson High School and retired as a presser with Olde Town Cleaners. She was a member of Norval Park Church of Christ, enjoyed crosswords and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Kent (Susan) McGee, Kimberly (Rodney) Stotts and April McGee; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Danny "Boone" (Lori) Birkhimer, Larry (Theresa) Birkhimer and Bill (Linda) Birkhimer; sisters, Kathy (Jack) Holdsworth, Carol (Hazen) Barr and Norma Headley; and a sister-in-law, Vicki Birkhimer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Fred Birkhimer, Jack Birkhimer, Randy Birkhimer and Frank "Bud" Birkhimer Jr.; and a brother-in-law, Charles Headley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Norval Park Church of Christ, 845 Arch St. Zanesville, OH 43701.
Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Monday November 17, 2025 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE, OHIO. Funeral services will follow at 7 PM with Greg Jadwin and Mark Tonkery officiating. Cremation Care has been entrusted to The Snouffer Crematory.
