Neal Funeral Home - ClevelandWanda Lafelle Loving, affectionately known as MeMaw, was born on March 28, 1946, in Diboll, Texas. She peacefully departed this world on November 2, 2025, in New Caney, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth that touches the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Wanda thrived in her childhood surrounded by the sweetness of family, often joined by her siblings to sing TV and radio commercials in Lufkin, as well as filling their home and church with joyful melodies. Those early days were imbued with a spirit of togetherness that she carried throughout her life. Wanda dedicated herself to helping her family and later embraced the joy of starting her own family. Her heart was boundless, and she loved unconditionally, always putting others before herself.
Throughout her life, Wanda’s love for God and faith was unwavering. She spent her time sharing the word of God with anyone who would listen, embodying a giving heart and nurturing spirit. Her influence permeated the lives of her family and friends, and her memory will forever linger in their hearts.
Wanda is survived by her beloved son Jesse Loving and his wife Cindy Loving, devoted daughter-in-law Beth Kay, and sisters-in-law Juanita Small, LaVina "Viney" Bullock, and Carol Loving. Her grandchildren, who were a constant source of joy for her, include Emily Loving and her fiancé Tyler McShan, Jeremy Kay, Jennifer Kay Mollica, Bobby Kay Jr., Ricky Kay, Brandon Kay, and Lacie Turner. Wanda cherished her great-grandchildren, who brought light into her life: Brynlee McShan, Riley Fabela and her husband Brandon, Keigan Roulston, Presli Mollica, Michael Mollica Jr., Dealen Kay, Bryce Kay, Preston Mason, Kylie and Kloe Kay, Aralyn Turner, Kaylee Fredrick, Madison Kay Davidson, Quinton Tyler Kay, Trenton Sage Kay, Miles Emerson Kay, and Brody Dean Tovey. She also leaves behind her great-great-grandchild Aayla Fabela, alongside many other loving family members and a host of treasured friends.
Wanda is welcomed into the gates of heaven by her beloved husband of 42 years, Jesse Loving Sr., whose love and companionship were foundational to her life. She will be reunited with her beloved parents, Lloyd and Allie Small, her sons, Bobby and Richard Kay, her daughters, Theresa Gail Loving and Cindy Turner, her grandson, Dustin Loving, her brother, Harold Small, and her sisters Geraldine Millican, Mary Tarver, Mel Herndon, Dollie Millican, Johnnie Collins, and Janet James.
A visitation to honor Wanda will be held at Neal Funeral Home in Cleveland, Texas, on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held the following day, Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Interment to immediately follow at Damascus Cemetery in Corrigan, Texas.
As we gather to celebrate her life, we find comfort in the countless memories she has left behind—the melodies she sang, the love she shared, and the unwavering faith she inspired in us all. Wanda Lafelle Loving will be deeply missed, yet her spirit and memory will continue to resonate through each and every one of us who had the privilege of crossing paths with her.
