Wanda Faye Meyers, 83, of Hobart, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024 in Altus, Oklahoma. She was born on October 24, 1941, to Louis Anderson "LA" and Iroma (Walker) Mapp in Carnegie, Oklahoma. Wanda grew up in Carnegie where she attended Carnegie Public School. She married Buddy Jones Sr., and to this union was born two children, Buddy Jones Jr. and Kim (Jones) Smith. She later married Donald Leroy "Pete" Granger and to this union was born one daughter, Doneta Lynn Granger Burton. On July 14, 1972, she married her soulmate, Joe C. Meyers, at a little church north of Carnegie, Oklahoma. When they got married, this added three stepchildren to her family: Bob, Teresa, and Joey. Wanda loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also loved daily visits with her sister, Anita. They always enjoyed talking about many things, but their favorite thing to discuss was the Thunder games. Wanda always made sure that you knew she loved you, no matter the interaction. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Teresa Heller and husband Terry, Gotebo, Oklahoma
Joey Meyers and wife LaRenda, Corn, Oklahoma
9 Grandchildren
20 Great Grandchildren
1 Sister: Anita Robison, Weatherford, Oklahoma
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 2 sisters: Sharon Kay and Billie Jean.
