Wanda Louise Odom

The family of Wanda Odom is saddened to announce that she has departed this world but entered peacefully into her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior and reunited with the ones that have gone on to that Heavenly place before her.
Those that preceded her in death are her late husband of over 30 years, Bobby Odom; her dad and mom, David C. and Nadine Brogdon; a niece, Debra Suzanne McSwiney; a nephew, Blake Allen Cain; and so many more family members.
Left to always cherish her memories are her sisters and brothers-in-law, Debra and Harold Nielens, Glenda and James Brown, Tammy and Curtis Davis; sister, Daphne Verge; brother, David C. Brogdon, Jr.; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Samantha Brogdon; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and cousins; a very special member/friend of the family, Rory A. McSwiney; her aunts she loved so much, Lucille McGill, Earline Frisbee, Fostine Pitts and Lenorah Shelton; and the family members of her late husband, Bobby Odom.
To know this great, loving, giving, caring and wonderful person was to love her. She was a loyal employee at Bay Radiology for over 40 years. Several of those fellow workers became just like family to us, to include Darlene, Mickie, Janice, Ricki and Jeannie.
She loved doing her genealogy, waiting on her Martins to fly in and feeding cats, dogs and other animals that were in need.
In lieu of flowers and to honor her love of fur babies, Wanda requested donations be made in her name to TNR (trap, neuter release) in care of Spay Bay, 3520 W. 15th St, Panama City, FL 32404, Attn: Hillary Slaton.
A special thanks to Dr. Nations, his staff of nurses, and Vitas Hospice for their dedication and care during this time, as well as a special thank you to John Webb of Heritage Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers are Richard McSwiney, Chris Nielens, Michael Ray Brogdon, Justin Brogdon, Timothy Cain, and Jordan Smith. Serving as alternates are Alston Brogdon, Rory McSwiney and Isaiah Smith.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.
Services will be Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, with Pastor Greg Aldridge officiating. Interment will follow at Cypress Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Kinard, FL.
