Wanda Lee Sammons, 64, passed away on March 12, 2026. She was born on September 8, 1961, to Juanita Christopher Haspel and the late Kettern King.
She was loving mother, wife and grandmother. She especially adored spending time with her grandchildren and treasured every moment she shared with them. She was also a dedicated member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church, where her faith and fellowship were an important part of her life.
She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Steve Sammons; her mother, Juanita Haspel; a son, Steven Michael Sammons (April); a sister, Glenda Baker (Binky); a brother, Bruce Christopher (Diane); and several grandchildren, Coraleigh, Weston and Millie.
Family services will be held at a later date.
