Wanda Loraine Schobey passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

She was born on March 16, 1964, in Midland, Texas, to Mary Kathryn and William Burton Phelps.

Wanda spent her working years as a postal carrier for USPS and in her free time, she enjoyed camping and being outdoors. She loved gathering with her family and spending time with them making precious memories.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Kevin Dwight Biddle, and two siblings William Lloyd Phelps and Linda Sue Phelps.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 21 years, Buddy Schobey; seven children, Stacy Schobey and husband Dylan, Dusty Schobey and wife Amber, Tiffany Wheelington and husband Cody, Brandon Biddle, John Biddle and wife Heather, Justin Morse and wife Jennifer, and Robert Dillard; 10 grandchildren; 1 precious great-grandbaby on the way; three siblings, Tammy Aaron and husband Carl, Teresa Irvin and husband Morrell, Eddie Phelps and wife Sherry; many special nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will be holding a private service at a later date.

Cremation Arrangements are under the direction of Herndon- Fuqua Funeral Home.
