Wanda Lynn (Robinson) Sherman
Wanda completed her life's journey on November 26, 2022 at the age of 93. She was married to
Guy Sherman for over twenty years and later to Bryce Patrick. She is survived by her children;
Sheila Sherman Green and husband Chris, Robert Sherman, John Sherman, and Angela
Sherman Bowdoin and husband James; brother Johnny Robinson and wife Jackie; nine
grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and many cousins,
nieces, and nephews.
Wanda was born in 1929 in Golden, Texas to John T. And Lucile Robinson. She has two
brothers and one sister, Shirley (deceased), Cozette (deceased), and Johnny. She graduated
from Golden High School and attended college in Louisiana. Later, she worked as a nurses aid
giving the upmost care to all of her patients.
She will be remembered for her love of the Lord, her extraordinary kindness, sweet smile, and
her talent for brightening the lives of everyone she met by sharing her unique sense of humor.
Wanda expressed her gratitude often for family and friends who made her feel so special and
loved. The family would like to thank everyone who shared in Wanda's beautiful life, especially
the staff of Autumn Wind Assisted Living and Heart to Heart Hospice.
Her services will be held at Beatty Funeral Home in Mineola, Texas on Saturday December 3rd,
with the burial following at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The visitation will start at
1:00 pm and the memorial service will start at 2:00 pm followed by the burial service.
