Wanda Sue Dickey Asa, also fondly known as Due Sickey and Grandma Sue Sue, passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 82.

Wanda was born January 8, 1943, to her parents J.W. 'Dub' and Mildred Dickey in Genoa, AR.

Wanda graduated from Genoa High School and worked at Smith Blair as a customer service and shop clerk until her retirement. She loved flowers and tending to her plants; she had a huge green thumb. She was a very eccentric woman, who loved music and different cultures. She was very enthusiastic and encouraging mother, grandmother, and friend to so many. In her last few years, she enjoyed hearing the gospel and attended Sovereign Grace Baptist Church of Lewisville, AR.

She is preceded in death by her daughters, LaRhonda Alexander and Vicki Lynn Chambless, and brothers, Billy Wayne Dickey, Douglas Dickey.

She is survived by granddaughter, Haleigh Alexander, and her father, John Alexander, husband of LaRhonda.

She is survived by her son, Tracy Sanders, and wife Traci, of Genoa, AR, and their children, Casey Sanders of Corpus Christi, TX, Seth and Ashley Sanders of Genoa, AR, Kayla and Daniel Anderson of Texarkana, TX; and grandchildren, Ryan Anderson, Adam Anderson, Willow Anderson, Myles Anderson, Ashten Sanders, Annabelle Sanders, Bryah Sanders, Abigail Sanders, and Gracelyn Sanders.

She is also survived by her son, Russell Sanders and wife, Marla, of Genoa, AR, and their daughter, Kelsie Rene and John Keller of Mt Laurel, NJ, grandchildren, Elias James Keller and Winnie Jane Rene Keller.

Her son in law, Johnny Chambless, husband of Vicki, and children, Stephanie and Christian Kidd of Crossett, AR, Joshua Chambless of Crossett, AR, John Chambless of Crossett, AR, Joseph and Cecelia Chambless of Crossett, AR; grandchildren, Alexis and Brandon Latinos, Ethan and Lizzie Tolbert, C.J. Kidd, Raylee Jo Chambless, Gabriel Kidd, Jonas Chambless, great-great children, Evelyn and Emery Tolbert.

Her special friends, Nancy and Joe Bittle of Genoa, AR, Claudette Holmes of Hochatown, OK, Margarette Hackleman of Texarkana, TX, Patsy Morton Hon, Shirley Duncan of Texarkana, AR, Lonnie and Brenda Bull, Don and Mary Yateman, Miss Mary from Ohio; all her great friends at The Oaks Retirement Center in Texarkana, TX, and so many more friends we cannot list them all. ackH

The family would like to extend a very special thanks to The Cottages in Texarkana, AR, for their loving care.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 25, 2025, in the chapel of Texarkana Funeral Home - Arkansas, with Pastor Darvin Pruitt officiating.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 – 10:00 AM, the hour before the service.

Burial will be in Sylverino Cemetery.
