Ward Allen Stephens, 58, entered into rest on Friday, April 19, 2024.

Ward was born on September 27, 1965, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. During his professional career spanning over two decades, Ward lent his skilled hand to the meticulous art of aircraft painting at Robins Air Force Base. Beyond his professional achievements, he had a host of fascinating hobbies and interests. He delighted in baking, with his specialty being a variety of amazing cheesecakes. Woodworking was something he enjoyed greatly; he would create and build a variety of different things for others with his skilled hand in craftsmanship. Among his many joys in life, car shows were another pastime he loved, with BMWs being his passion. Ward’s greatest treasure was his faithful companion, Rusty, his loyal dog whom he took with him wherever he went. Ward will be deeply missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

His father, James Thomas Stephens, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his mother, Nancy Thompson Stephens; siblings, Vicki Richard (Larry), Debbie Wiggins, and Court Stephens (Beth); along with several nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, April 22, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.  Afterward, Ward will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
