Warren Brill Obituary
Warren was a high school agriculture teacher for 34 years. He taught at Page County High School for 16 years beginning in 1983, then at Stonewall Jackson High School for 18 years, before retiring in 2017. Warren served as FFA advisor and coached track and field, softball, and swimming. He always sought to make a difference in the lives of his students.
Warren enjoyed a variety of hobbies. Once an avid hunter and fisherman, he devoted much of his time as a softball and swimming coach for his children, Kristin and Adam. He was a lifelong woodworker and gardener, and loved canning the many fruits and vegetables he grew for his family.
A devoted husband and father, Warren was hardworking as much as he was humble. He was kind and caring with a one-of-a-kind personality. And he was always up for a good laugh, ready with a witty comeback to any joke.
He is survived by wife Donna Jean Brill; two children, Kristin Cornell and husband Ryan, and Adam Brill; and two grandchildren, Miles and Luca.
Also surviving are his three brothers, Wayne Brill and wife Sandy, David Brill and wife Susan, and Danny Brill and wife Jo Ann.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frances and Kenneth Brill.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Heishman Funeral Home in Woodstock at 11 a.m. The family will accept visitors at 10 a.m. Burial service will be held at Sunset Memorial Cemetery immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital online (stjude.org) or Mt. Jackson Rescue Squad at 6155 Main St, Mt Jackson, VA 22842.
