I met Tom when I moved to Pittsford in 1968. We were best friends for a few years at Barker Road Junior High school. One of my favourite memories of Tom was the day he took me sailing.he so loved to sail. I moved to Canada in 1970 and lost touch with Tom but I never forgot him in all the years that have passed and what a special person he was in my life. I am very sorry to hear of his passing.

I met Tom when we were in 7th grade. He had just moved to Pittsford from California. He was smart, strong and handsome. He was the fastest athlete in the track and field team. He also loved football and was a great fullback. But mostly he showed kindness to everyone. I saw him again a week ago at the hospital; football game playing in the background, he was not well yet he still showed the kindness I will always remember about Tom. Rest in peace my friend. My deepest sympathy to his family and all those who will miss his kindness and big heart.
