Warren McCarthy Colleton

Warren McCarthy Colleton, Sr., 80, a resident of Prattville, AL, passed away at his home on Monday, November 28, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones. Warren was preceded in death by his wife, Diana Colleton; brothers, Larry Colleton, Terry Colleton. He is survived by his two daughters, Robin Thivierge (Tim) and Wendy Allen (Jim); one son, Warren McCarthy Colleton, Jr. (Amy); eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Tim Colleton (Rita); two sisters-in-law, Brenadette and Carol; 23 nieces and nephews. Mr. Colleton was one in million. His gentle understanding nature, one who wasn't afraid to show love made him a good husband and father. He loved spending time and sharing his knowledge with his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was a great listener and was always willing to help anyone with anything. He loved fixing cars and restoring old ones. His pride was his pink and black 1955 Crown Victoria. He will always be remembered for his amazing dance moves and dancing with his wife. After retiring from G.E., he became an amazing baker and chef. He loved to make cookies, pies and calzones with his family. The most important gift he gave was his time; time to teach, time to play, and time to love us.
