Warren Leonard Downs, 56 of West Chester, Ohio and formerly of Ashburn, Georgia, passed away on November 2, 2025. Born to Clinton Downs and Sandra Wise (nee Dolan), on May 3, 1969, in Ocilla, Georgia.
Warren was a devoted husband, father, brother, and son. He led a life that should be an example to us all-- one of selflessness, strength, and great faith. He lived each day with love and devotion for his family near and far, never allowing distance to stand in the way of family. Warren was the point person for anyone, for anything. There were few things he didn't know how to do, and if he didn't it was only a challenge he was determined to overcome. He was a sounding board for many, and all who sought out his advice knew they were getting his truth. He lived honestly and unapologetically, true to who he was. While devoted and sincere, he had a playful spirit and loved to bring joy through laughter. He was quick-witted and always committed to the bit. Beyond his passion for his family, Warren loved his Green Bay Packers (and as he would point out, he was a part-owner), the Georgia Bulldogs, and the Braves. He enjoyed spending time at the lake with his wife and their friends who became "framily". He truly was larger than life.
Preceded in death by his father, Clinton Downs, grandmother, Virgina Dolan, and brother-in-law, Chris Freeman.
Warren is survived by his beloved wife, Gina Louise Downs (nee Thibodeau), daughters, Jessica (Kyle) Toedtman and Danielle (Justin) Iott, mother, Sandra Dolan Wise, siblings, Clinton ‘Sport’ (Twyla) Jr, Linda (Dennie) Metcalf, Ginger Freeman and Kevin Downs, special nephew, Konnor Downs and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers or monetary donations, Warren would want everyone to pick up the phone or make the trip, and don't leave anything unfinished. Make amends, say "I love you", and don't leave anything unsaid.
A celebration of life service will be held in Georgia. Please check back for details.
