Warren Gill Obituary
A Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a retired Supervisor from the former New Cumberland Army Depot. He was past Commander and Chaplain of Fox-Eichelberger VFW Post 7415, New Cumberland and member of W.H. Nauss American Legion Post 143, New Cumberland. He was a past coach of New Cumberland Twilight Baseball team. Warren was an avid golfer and cherished following his grandchildren in their extracurricular events.
He was born August 17, 1947 in Lewistown to the late Warren C. Gill, Sr. and Beverly J. (Andrews) Gill. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth (Hudson) Gill.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda M. Gill; children, LtCol Gordon R. Moon of Colchester, CT; John A. Arndt (Jennifer) of Camp Hill, Tiffany Beard of Lewisberry, and Becky Whitebread (Mark) of Etters; brothers, Robert L. Gill, Sr. (Judy) of Enola and Jon Gill (Jennifer) of Etters; several nieces and nephews, several grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 10am until funeral services at 11am Tuesday May 7th at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Private burial will take place in Atkinson Mills Methodist Church Cemetery, Mcveytown, PA
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg PA 17110 or VFW Post 7415, 109 3rd St., New Cumberland, PA 17070.
